BSHC Hosts the Annual Working Meeting of the Blue Crystal Centre of Competence Partners

On 22 July 2026, the Bulgarian Ship Hydrodynamics Centre hosted the annual working meeting of the Partners in the Blue Cristal Centre of Competence project.

Assoc. Prof. Nikolay Markov, PhD, Head of the Research Programme under Work Package 3, gave a brief presentation on the progress of BSHC’s activities within the project. He announced that the public procurement procedure for the design and construction of the Landscape Aerodynamic Wind Tunnel had been successfully completed. The construction, installation, and commissioning of the facility will be carried out over the next 11 months by the Czech company 4JTECH s.r.o.

By the autumn, the Staff Training Plan and the Corporate Social Responsibility Strategy of the Blue Crystal Centre of Competence are expected to be completed. Both documents are being prepared by the University of Ruse.
